Thoughts on these 2 diamonds for engagement ring?

Hi all,

Has anyone had a custom setting made by GOG before? I'm going for something relatively simple for my engagement ring - round brilliant center with thin halo, and plain split shank band.

Could I get people's opinions on these two diamonds? Does the pricing seem competitive for the specs?

David from GOG has told me that both are 'completely eye clean'.

I'd go for the 1.88 if they are equally clean! It is definitely going to be larger visually! I have bought a Vatche setting through GOG, and they carry sooo many brands of settings. I'd either choose a halo setting from a line they carry, or I'd have Steven Kirsch custom make the setting.
