Hello everyone!
After much consideration I have decided that I do prefer a thinner band for my current engagement ring. I went into the local B&M store and tried on a few thinner bands and I prefer a width of 1.5-2mm instead of the current 2.5mm I have. My e-ring is a 14k white gold plain 4 prong solitaire. Does anyone have experience or know anything about jewelers who can thin down a band size? I'm not sure how difficult it would be so I have no idea what it would cost. However, I'm wondering if it will be cheaper than replacing my band and re-mounting my stone? It seems like it would since I would save on a lot of fees lol
