Thin eternity or half-eternity band? Pictures/Suggestions please!

Hi -

Now that I have my engagement ring - I''ve moved on to wedding bands!

Here''s my e-ring setting (but, mine''s 18K YG with 6-prong Pt head):

It''s about 2.5 mm tapering up to just under 2mm.

What size diamonds would look good in a 1/2 eternity band with this?

Does anyone have any other suggestions for bands that might look good (besides the standard gold band)?

Does anyone have pictures of a really thin eternity or 1/2 eternity band - particularly with a simpler/thin setting like this?

I have quite a bit of time, but, want to start to get some ideas!

kristy, there are a lot of solitaire and eternity ring sets posted in this thread.

Also attached is a picture of my set. My ering is about the same width as yours. The diamonds in my eternity ring are 3 pointers, .75 ct total.

I too love a classic solitaire paired up with a diamond half or full eternity!

I have only tried on half eternity rings. I think that if your center stone is .75 ct and under considering it is half eternity ... size wise that looks nice it a total carat wt of .25-.33''ish.

If You diamond is 1ct then I think .50-.75tcw.

I also love the look of having a diamond band on both sides of a diamond solitare. Yum-a-licious!

Best thing to do, is to go and look and try on different sizes ... you might like something more blingy ... or not so blingy than me.
