Well,........... I personally would not buy that last one. With the K-L color, I3 stones. If the melee isn''t well cut, the color might show. At I2, you''re getting into structural integrity issues. I3 is getting into the "Industrial Grade" area. With I3, the stones are so included, or the inclusions are such, that the stones can easily fracture. One little ding, and you can loose diamonds out of your bracelet.
So that would leave a choice between Overstock and WF. Overstock is lower color and clarity than the WF ACA melee. The cut quality at Overstock is unknown. WF ACA melee is known for being dazzlers. I think I''d choose the WF tennis bracelet myself. But that''s just MHO of the choices available. |

thanks for the reply. the more and more i search, the harder it gets. i know i cant afford anything crazy, so i need to find a balance. there is such a huge gap though. i mean, i can get 2ct sparklers, or for the same price i can take a chance with one of the other 4-5 ct choices for pretty much the same price? ugghhhh... this is why i try not to shop. lol

I have the 3 carat diamond bracelet from WF, and it is just gorgeous. It sparkles more than anything I''ve ever seen. My husband is always saying that it sparkles more than my e-ring and w-ring. I would definitely purchase the 2 carat one over an unknown quantity in the Overstock one. The oOverstock one is attractive for the price, but it may not sparkle as much. Is the Overstock one returnable? If it is, you could order it to see if you like it,and if not, you could send it back and get the WF one.

HI:
With that overstock bracelet--is the clarity SI1 or SI-I clarity? I have no idea about consistency in grading with Overstock, but would completely assured with the product from WF. I have a diamond bangle from Wink Jones, and altho the carat weight is just over 3.25 carats, the diamonds are very well cut MAD sparklers and therefore it looks like a million bucks. Stick with known quality stones, and there will be few regrets over the difference in carat weight. Just MHO. cheers--Sharon |
