Should I buy this? Newbie to the diamond buying scene.

I have a setting but am now looking for a diamond for my soon to be fiance. We decided either princess or round. You can get more bang for your buck with the princess so decided why not just get the princess. Take a look at this one from GOG.

What does eveyone think of this diamond? ANy advice is appreciated.

Hi, looks like a nice princess, but let me just point out the carat weight of the princess and the dimension vs a round will be smaller.

see here... a round and at $4654, will actually look slightly bigger than the princess you chose, granted that it doesn't hit the 1ct mark... this is at .90ct.

just something to think about, whether its the shape you are interested in, or whether it is the 1ct mark you want to hit? those are personal, don't buy just because its "bang for the bucks"

Thanks for pointing that out. To be honest with you its all about how big it looks and how "brilliant" the diamond looks. That H&A Round looks GORGEOUS compared to the princess. It will be more brilliant and look bigger than the princess. May go with it.

If anybody else has any advice let me know.
