Shape???

DH has mentioned upgrading my wedding set for our fifth anniversary.  That''s about two years from now, but I''m trying to get ideas of what I want, what our budget should be, etc.  Believe me, it will take me AT LEAST that long to decide!  LOL! 

The center stone of my current e-ring (which can be seen in my avatar) is a 0.75 carat radiant-cut.  I really like my radiant, and I''m considering getting another (larger! ) one, but I''m trying to get the most "bling for my buck." 

I know that some shapes tend to face up bigger than others.  For example, I really like cushions, but I''ve heard that a two carat cushion is going to look smaller than a two carat radiant.  Is that true?  If so, can anybody tell me which shape will face up the biggest?  I''m afraid everyone will probably say that a round will face up the biggest, but I''m not a big fan of rounds ~ I really like the fancies!
