rb tapered baguettes settings

I''m trying to find a reasonably priced setting - pref. yg with plat. head - for a c. 1ct centre stone and around 0.35 tcw sides.

The only one I''ve seen so far is a Vatche with 0.55 tcw sides, but it''s coming in at around $3.5k, which is more than the budget is going to allow.

I''ve had a look at Stuller, but they all seem to be either yg, or plat and can''t find prices.

Anyone have any info on possible settings?

James Allen has one that is only $680 for wg -- not sure if it comes in yg though.

Facets Collection has a few variations on the baguette sidestone setting. They look to be around $2K

Many of the vendors sell them. Mark at Engagement Rings Direct set one for us with .41 points of baguettes in 18K white gold for about $575. Very lovely setting, but probably discounted because the diamond was also purchased from him.

There you go! I wouldnt worry too much about where the setting will come from. I''m certain that any PS vendor that can find the stone can find the setting. And as Linda74 mentioned, that you will probably get a better price if you buy the stone & setting from one vendor.
