Hi everyone,

Just wanted to get everyone's expert opinions. Could you please look at the three diamonds below:

http://www.goodoldgold.com/diamond/7760/
http://www.goodoldgold.com/diamond/8059/
http://www.goodoldgold.com/diamond/8536/

Each one of them has an ideal for both polish and symmetry, except for one. What does everyone think of their hearts and arrows images? I've compared them to the ideal images here: http://princessofhearts.com/main.html,, but some of the hearts have splits and the headarrow below the heart seems to blur as well.

Would these diamonds still have great optics judging from their hearts and arrows images alone?

Also, which would you choose if you had to?

Thanks everyone!

Kind regards,

noah35.

Hi there! I'm in the market for PoH's too and I wanted to tell you two things that might help:

1) Good Old Gold has PoH's on sale until November, though I don't know if they intend on extending it. I'm talking 10-20% off, which is huge.

2) If you have a specific carat weight, color, and clarity in mind check out their listing for "out of house" PoH stones. They don't have images or test data but if you're serious about buying one they can bring it in and have it analyzed within a few days. They are also "newer" stones that are from the new Canadian source and may (or may not) be of a slightly superior cut quality. They don't bring in many PoH stones unless upon request due to their current niche status.

I can't speak for the older stones that they have in house (check the dates on the AGS/GIA reports to see what I'm talking about), but they say that the cut quality on the new stones is amazingly consistent and outstanding. I'd send them an email expressing your interest and they'll get back to you with everything you need to know. They've very helpful that way. Good luck!

Judging by their ASET and DiamXray images, I think all 3 would be very good performers. My preference would be for the 1ct H SI1 because it looks like it has the least light leakage, but honestly, all 3 look very good. The videos Jonathan at GOG makes show pretty well the differences between their stones and these Ideal cut POH stones seem to all be excellent light performers :)

Good luck !
