Hello,

Can someone please point me in the right direction to get some pointers on what I should be looking for when looking at a princess cut stone using an idealscope. I realize that it isnt a straight forward as a round cut. What are some positive signs and negetive signs other than symentry.

Thank you,
Michael

Through the IdealScope, the morer the red the gooder the stone.

Past that, it is tough to pin down princesses with regard to "ideal" proportions. Use the AGA charts and find a good jeweler.

You have seen the fancyes' chart of ideal-scope.com ?

Aside that, the collection of "educational diamonds" at Good Old Gold make pretty good refference - there are quite a few nice princess cuts with Brilliance Scope and Ideal Scope scores each.
