Preset halo studs from BGD and a question??!!

So after seeing Ilovethiswebsite''s thread on her new preset halo studs from BGD, I had to get them. I''m not usually a diamond stud person. I tend to like hoops, silver, pearls (now thanks to the pearl forum!) so I was excited to see these halo studs as they are a little twist on the basic stud. And not to mention great value with a big look!!! I emailed Lesley about even possibly taking a current basic diamond pendant that I have (around .3 stone) and possibly having BGD reset that for me into a matching pendant as well. I hardly wear my basic pendant so I thought this would give it a little ooomph!!! What do you all think of that idea? Lesley will probably get back to me next week and let me know if it can be accomplished and I am going to wait and look at my halo studs first to be sure I will like them in a pendant as well.

Absolutely gorgeous!

I love this style. I fancy a pendant like this. I really think the 3 together would be wonderful. Keep us posted with your purchases/decisions.

I really like those studs and think they are a great value. I think a pendant to match would be perfect!

Thanks Susi! I can''t wait to get the studs in and see them on my ear! They are supposed to look like around a 1.5cttw set. I like a big earring presence so that is why I never really got into basic studs because I could never afford the size I would want!!!! So I am very excited about these and hoping the pendant works out because I never wear it and I am thinking it will make a nice set. Thanks for your post!!!

I looked in the show me the stud thread but I didn''t see anyone else that owns these studs. Does anyone know if any other members own these? I''d love to see more earshots!!!

Thanks Bella. ilovethiswwebsite is the one who actually got me started on these earrings, so I have seen her pics. I''m just picture greedy!!! And was just wondering if anyone else knew off the top of their head of anyone else who owns them.

I went diamond perusing( if that indeed is a word) in my home town today.

I spotted a pair of earrings not to dissimilar to the ones you listed. they were Hearts on Fire and they were gorgeous!!! Want to know the price, a little over £1300!!!

You do the math!!

You got a great deal. I am so going to have to buy me a diamond something from the good old US of A.

You guys have got the best buys ever!!!

I will Susi! You are so funny. Hearts on Fire is known for being pricey but I feel like I got a bargain for sure! You should definitely buy something from the US, then your friends will think you spent a million bucks, but you''ll know the secret!!! I''ll post pics as soon as I get those earrings in!

Hi Lizzy,

I think the pendant would look beautiful and I hope they give you a great quote for it so you can get it. I think the earrings are gorgeous ! I know that BGD''s website says that they have the coverage of .75s but ILOVETHISWEBSITE says that hers measure about 5mm, more like a .50ct; do they come in different sizes?

Hi Bling, thanks for posting. Yes, I did see Ilovethiswebsite''s post that they looked more like 5mm or .5ct. BGD says 5.6mm/.75, but I figure either way they will look bigger than my .5cttw studs!!!! I should be getting them tomorrow, so I will post pics! BGD is working on quoting me on a pendant with their signature melee. Hopefully, it''ll all work out!!!

They have arrived!!! but are being held for pickup at fedex. It is snowing here but I am hoping I can pick them up later today!

Lesley got back to me on the pendant. they are looking for a stock pendant as opposed to fully custom to help save some $$. Then we are going to set it with BGD''s signature melee. Thoughts? I''m excited to revamp my current pendant!!!

ooohhhhh, I hope it stops snowing ! I don''t think Lesley and Brian would do the pendant if they didn''t think it would look gorgeous. Once you see your beautiful earrings I think you will have less concern about ordering the pendant.

I think the pendant would look great! Jelly had a halo pendant made from an Adwar stock item. It is beautiful :)

Did you see RS''s new and old pendants? They are beautiful. Her''s are HOF but if BGD can make something
similar with their beautiful stones it will be gorgeous. Now, where are the pics of those earings?!?!?!
