I've chosen a Blue Nile platinum trellis solitare but am undecided on the diamond.

Thanks!

If it were me, I think I''d want a better color grade if I was going to set it in platinum. A J color in a white metal could look yellow?

HOGWASH. The J will look absolutely fine in platinum. There are literally dozens of PSers who have J stones in platinum to prove it.

Of all the stones you posted, Feb03, I like the first one best.....http://www.bluenile.com/diamonds_details.asp?__fun_frm=i&track=view_details_btn&elem=img&pid=LD01180921&filter_id=0#grading_report

Great numbers, great value, gorgeous!

And the first one has medium blue flourescence, a great companion to the J color!

That one would likely be nice too, although I''d likely still favor the first one with the fluor.
