This is my first time posting, but from my little bit of lurking I have done, you all have incredible advice and style. I am debating which wedding band to purchase from Signed Pieces....and I am hoping you can help me!

I have: a 1.6 round, ideal-cut engagement ring, set in a 4-prong, cathedral platinum setting.
My ring size is: 6.5

I would like a shared-prong, round diamond, platinum wedding band. The main thing I am looking for is that the diamonds cover the top portion of my finger. I do not need an eternity band, and the size of the diamonds are not that important to me, so long as they do not look too small/large in proportion to my e-ring.

I spoke with someone at Signed Pieces yesterday, and I think my best bet is to go with either a 7 stone, 9 stone, or 11 stone ring. I would like for it to cost no more than $1,500. I am a little worried that the higher the tcw is on the wedding band, the thicker the band will be and it might look odd next to my dainty e-ring band. Also, do you think it is necessary to get a platinum wedding band if that is what my e-ring is? Does it make a difference?

These are the ones I am considering:
This is a 7 stone band with a tcw of .60

or this
7 stones for .70
http://www.thefacetscollection.com/item.cfm?item_id=2171
or this
11 stones for .76

Any advice/insight would be greatly appreciated. My wedding is 3 months away so I feel as though I should get on the ball with this!

Thanks,

I don''t have an eternity band, but at one time I was considering one, and I was using my own guideline that an eternity ring should be approximately the same witdth as the shank on the ering (that''s what I like). I''m not sure how wide ur ering is, but signed pieces lists the width for all their eternity rings....

there are MANY threads reviewing size of eternity band diamonds. Try doing a search to see what people with your center stone size went with. Hope this helps

I am thinking that the 11-stone shared prong band will be best, because it will give me the most finger coverage without being too bluky of a band.

Does anyone else have any thoughts/advice?
Thanks!
