Hey girlface,
I bet I can shed some light on this question. I don''t really see any serious long term problems with wearing palladium besides platinum. If there were engraved detail on the contact area, there would definitely be wear, but this would be true even if both rings were platinum or palladium. The colors of the palladium and platinum can both vary depending on the exact alloy, but generally palladium is even whiter than platinum. You might be able to notice more of a difference between the two metals as they wear over time. If you are looking for a better match, palladium may be your better choice. Despite its lack of presence on the market now, palladium is still widely utilized by custom designers, and in this economy especially, you just might be able to find a designer to make you a beautiful matching custom wedding band for a really good price. Hope this helps. Reach me anytime.
