Need advice - better C/P angles for smaller carat, or avg C/P angles for larger carat

I know the C/P angles aren''t the greatest. After I purchased this item, I just found out about that Cut Adviser on this site. I ran the numbers and got a 3.3... VG / G / G / VG

The Cut Adviser score was 1.6 ... EX / EX / EX / VG

Again, I already purchased the first one (.73). Is it worth it to go through an exchange process to get the second one? I plan on proposing next Wednesday. Is there really much of a difference?

Carat size does not matter in determining the best angles. Complimentary angles will apply not matter how large the diamond.

To be honest, though, they may not look that different. But without images we cannot say for sure. If they have not shipped it yet then why not exchange it? Peace of mind, right?

Maybe, maybe not, depends on how the cutting and how the numbers are rounded. Will need an Idealscope image to tell with confidence.

Thank you both for your advice. Just to give you some more background, I originally purchased a .71 stone from Jared -- because I didn''t know any better, for $3600. I stayed up until 4 AM doing research and realized I paid way too much. I then chose to buy online from Blue Nile for a .73 that was 1 step better in all levels including cut and clarity for $2891. Additionally, I did not pay tax, so you see how excited I was when I realized I could get something better, but cheaper.

I got very nervous after reading about C/P angles and although the stone I purchased does not have the greatest score, I think it may be sufficient. For someone like my girlfriend, I just want her to be happy. I want the stone to look nice with a naked eye. Anyway, I expect it tomorrow so I will take a few pics for you and post it here tomorrow.
