Hi guys. I asked for opinions on this 0.9 ct stone in my last post. I now have Sarin data that I can include. Here goes:

Option 1
0.90ct
depth 61.4% (Sarin says 61.7%)
table 57% (Sarin says 56.0%)
thn-med girdle
polish - v.good
symmetry - v.good
VS2
I
no fluor.
Sarin crown angle - 35.6 degrees
Sarin pavillion angle - 40.2 degrees
Sarin crown depth - 15.8%
Sarin pavillion depth - 42.4%
Sarin culet - 0.6%
$3400 for loose stone; might be able to get it for $3600 incl. plat. solitaire

The thing that bothers me at this point is the I color. Should I care?
Rsilvers, any opinions? Anyone else? Hope I'm not being a pest.

What do you think of these numbers? The dealer let me also look through a H&A-type scope. The hearts and arrows were OK, but not gorgeous. The stone looks nice to the eye, though.

This is interesting combination. Garry (Cut Nut) called such stones Fiery Ideal Cut. Do you see more fire?

Drop the stone into platinum settings, see whether it looks white enough for you or can you spot a yellow tint. Compare it with higher color stone in the same settings.
