Modified Cushion Cut

Hi all!

I have a question about a stone. While it is an absolutely beautiful stone , a few things jump out at me and lead me to believe it may be overpriced at $8,000. However, I am not an expert an would love some advice.

66% Table Size
Very thin-Extremely Thick Girdle, Faceted
Culet, None
Very Good a Polish
Good Symmetry

What would be a fair price for such a diamond?

I guess the diamond's total depth seems high. However, I realize cushions often have deeper cuts. It is also an off-square shape, slightly elongated, and have heard greater depths for such a stone make for greater brilliance. However, I am a total newbie and really don't know a lot about diamonds, as I am just beginning my search. I also worry about the girdle, though I do not know if that is as important as I think?

Without some pictures it is hard to say anything.

But without anymore information, 8000 is not some kind of strange price for what you are looking at.
