Hi everyone!
New to the forum. I've been doing a LOT of research on diamonds over the past few months and am ready to take the plunge. I'm looking at a Round brilliant cut diamond with the following specs: GIA certified 3X F Colour VS2 1.25K
On the GIA certificate, it states that there is a "knot" and in the diagram, it is shown from the top view somewhere in the middle.
I've read that a "knot" is something you'd want to avoid because it is one of the worst inclusions to have and could affect the diamond in the long run.
However, since it is a VS2, by definition, it hasn't reached the surface and thus, I think it should be okay.
Any thoughts on this?
Thanks for your help!
