I''ll be the first to tell you that I am no expert

but it looks great to me.

Do you have more info or other photos on the stone? Have you seen it in person?

hehehehe...well actually...to answer you question..
the idealscope 'picture' is not very good.

in the picture the diamond is quite tilted, so it's hard to tell exactly what is going on in there. just because the diamond is tilted, doesn't mean it can't be very nice. it's just hard to tell from that pic. what are the specs?

Here are the specs:
1.84 ct

Depth - 61.5
Crown angle - 35
Pavilion - 40.9
Polish and symmetry - ideal
Measurements 7.88 x 7.93 x 4.8

It does have a comment on the certificate that "Clouds are not shown" Thanks again!!!

little leakage under the table from the crown and pavilion angle combo.
Id like to see a better IS image but from what im seeing if the price is right it looks nice.

on further research the price looks right for the quality level.
So while not the very best diamond it is very nice and there are limited options right now in that size class.

Thanks for your input! I did notice that there aren''t many diamonds to choose from in SI1 Clarity/I color/1.8 to 1.9 size range. Is there usually a better selection? Should I wait a little while before deciding? Thanks again!

ideal-scope exaggerates leakage
this is 22% in the worst spot i could find after tilting the model

A tolkowsky ideal model has 3-15% leakage in the same region without tilting

It is a rare carat weight - you might wait ages - or never find another as good

leakage is exaggeratedSmall1JPG.jpg
