Hi:

I would like to understand better how to evaluate a square diamond.
I am interested in such a shape compared to a round because it is not as classic, but since this is going to be a surprise offering I don't want to make a big mistake (compared to getting a Hearts and Arrows round diamond).

I have found article with the desired proportions for princess by AGA, but I have failed to find information on the bottom line of the Signature Princess diamonds at Blue Nile which seems to be a new cut and may not fit in these specs.

In addition I would like to find more information on the following:
Bottom line, pros/cons of Flanders cut diamonds.
What type of cut is the square shape Hearts on Fire diamond?
Is the Tiffany's Lucida cut a better radiant cut?
