this question has come up alot since 2003 but it probably is buried in other threads so harder to search on...
I have had 2 ES stones and 3 of WF''s ACA stones. The naked eye cannot pick out the differences IF the ES stones are cut very precisely...and I have been very happy with both the ES and ACA stones...so it really would be about inventory but I''d always try to see what they had in ES first, the price savings is usually pretty good over ACA.
I agree w/ Jennifer. This *needing to know you have "the best"* (in all aspects of diamond selection) seems to be the "strongest" sometimes with the newbies. It sure was for me. But I tried to learn well from the people here who I deeply respect. Now I'm all about finding the most incredible, most competively priced diamond.Date: 7/17/2005 3:58:25 PM

I have a WF ES, .776, J, VS2 and it's incredible... I think they are the way to go. I can understand needing to *know* you have the best of the best, aka the ACA, but if you don't have that issue, the ES are awesome.
