Hello Secluded, On a GIA report, a grade of "Excellent" for polish or symmetry is commensurate with the AGS grade of "Ideal." CUT grading is separate from polish & symmetry. The AGS does grade cut, and a cut grade of 0 (Ideal) indicates a set of specific proportions falling in a desired range. In order to determine if a GIA graded stone falls within AGS "Ideal" cut a Sarin or Ogi report detailing specific measurements is necessary. |
