It's easy. Near the top of this screen I clicked on the tab labeled, Resources. Then I selected Diamond Search. I entered: 2.5 - 3 carat Excellent cut ALL colors ALL clarities It found 68 stones all with HCA scores under 2.0. They were priced from $16,648 for a 2.53 J SI2 to $87,073 for a 2.72 E VVS2. If you pick one of these the next step is to get an Idealscope pic and compare it to this chart. |

True dat. Rhino, I have a question. The HCA graph has two areas, defined by white lines. The large dashed one is GIA, and the smaller solid line is AGS's range. In addition to the HCA score the tool also puts an X in on the chart for where the diamond falls. If it falls in the area common to both the GIA and the AGS range would it not qualify as "the GIA X/AGS Ideal zenith"? Here's an example: |
