Welcome back
![]() Are you going to wear 2 bands side by side or there will be an e-ring dividing them? I would get an asscher ( you like them) eternity in yellow gold to match your band's metal and the shape of those "gold squares". So diamonds in the new band will match not diamonds in the first one, but metal squares. |

Thank you very much for your posts !
Actually, I tried to download picture of my ring from cartier''s site, but all the site is built with flash so I couldn''t do it.. I am no computer crack... But here is the link where you can see it...my ring is the right one of the first row http://www.cartier.fr/fr/Collections/Joaillerie,1,12 I will wear the eternity without the e-ring, only with the wedding band. Thank you for your suggestion about the shape ! Actually that is true, I love asschers and in Switzerland it is not a common shape...I am pretty sure that nobody will have a similar ring ![]() So now that we are on asschers (my hubbie loves them too Now a crucial question : what do you think about the quality of the cut by Facets ? I know that the cut is THE point for all diamond shapes and especially with asschers, there are clearly more beautiful stones than others..Any experience and feedback about the quality of the asscher cut by Facets ? Finally, which ctw should I take ? On the pics of Facets site, it is pretty hard to get the idea of their look on the finger since all the designs are magnified to allow us to see the details....My husband finds the 5 ctw expensive even if I downgrade to F-G colour which I am not sure is the best thing to do... Thank you for your help again |

Here you can get an instant quote for 18 YG asscher eternity band for different tcw"s and diamonds qualities and see what's fit your budget.
How about counting your "squares" and going with same quantity of asschers? ETA: actually i think i will manage to count from the picture on the link you gave, just not sure that your ring size is the same. |

yes Angeline it is my ring. Thank you I am happy you like it !
Actually, when I got married 2 years ago, we went directly to Cartier for our wedding bands and we both fell in love with this design. Since we wanted the same design for my hubby and me (He''s got the ring without stones) that was exactly what we were hoping for. Now, he wanted to give me a second ring from the lanières collection, the one with diamonds all around but, with my newly acquired knowledge about diamonds , I told him I''d rather have a non branded eternity ring, because for the same price as the Cartier band, we could get a wonderful eternity band with more than the double tcw of the Cartier one...And I can have asschers which I really love ! In fact, since I had a very good experience when buying diamond studs from Bluenile (that is how I started my diamond search over the net) around the time of the wedding I thought that it would be just as well to buy over the net for an eternity band but there is a problem with the size of the ring, which has to be perfect with e-bands, so we are considering travelling to NY in the coming months for me to try some rings in real before the final purchase. Since it is an investment of thousands $, we could spend a couple of hundreds more to be sure of what fits my finger and have a nice vacation at the same time ![]() Anyway, I''ll let you all know about this happy process and would be very happy to post pics of my new e-ring when we get it ! Many many thanks to your precious help. Now I became kinda addict to this site and to the wonderful pics, tips and comments one can find here ! ![]() |
