I'm considering a J color diamond and need help finding one that will face up white. I'm not sure if blue fluorescence is critical or not.

My budget for the stone is $6500 but if the stone is spectacular then I can push it to $7k if need be.

I'm looking for J color or better, eye clean at 8", and ~7.2mm or more in diameter so probably 1.35cts or more. I don't need an ideal H&A cut diamond nor perfect symmetry but would like one with great light performance. Symmetry isn't that important but if it has a good arrow pattern that would be nice.

I've been looking at enchanted diamonds because they have pics, aset, and vid of some of their diamonds so it's easier for me to search. I'm not opposed to buying a stone solely off specs and gia/ags report as long as I can return it if its not up to par.

Would you pick any of these or something else?

This one makes my heart sings. I would buy it in a New York second if I was in the market. Numbers and images looks great. Are you ok wth color? I have a 1.6 E and a 1.1 J and I can barely tell the difference... lucky me that I am not color sensitive ;))

X2.... It has the size, colour, fluoro, spread & a nice facet pattern at a good price. Put this on hold before a lurker gets it!

J's are only slightly tinted.

That stone has potential. But you have to make sure the fluorescence isn't making it hazy. You need to ask them to pull the stone and examine it for you to make sure it is not 'overblue' and that the fluorescence isn't having a negative effect.

Also make sure they look it over to confirm it is eyeclean.

Please realize that the tint will be seen from the side. So your best bet, if you want a halo, is a bezel halo, like this one.
