Luckily she wasnt paying attention...and I signed over the package in double quick time and hid in the toilet

I TORE thru the packages and the STONE LOOKS AMAZING!!!!

IT LOOKS HUGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and SHINY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I''m still really amazed at this little small thing and how much it costs! Definitely the most expensive/weight thing I ever bought

I''ll give more updates when I have time to actually LOOK at it properly!

Thanks everyone!

UPDATE 2.

Ok! Sent her home and finally had the chance to look at the thing properly
3.gif

its a H...but....it looks REALLY WHITE TO ME!!! In fact, it looks alot whiter than the Hs i saw in the shops!! I think the ACA cut really helped!! (I might be biased...since I don''t have any other diamonds to compare
5.gif
)

It looks HUGE TOO!! OH MY! Now I''m alittle afraid that its TOOO BIG...since her fingers are quite tiny too...
19.gif

Its an SI1, so I was also looking around to see if its eye-clean. As described, its totally eye-clean from the table. But if I look close enough and really inspect the stone all around, I could see abit of inclusion at the sides.

I''m not worried about this since no one looks a diamond from that crazy angles..AND...i think the prong might cover it up anyways
3.gif

Next up will be the setting...

Do you all think I should go to a gemologist and get it certified/verified before I go get the stone mounted????

VERY EXCITING....this looks to be ready for the BIG "P" Day on 15 June

So great that you are excited! I would be too. The stone is absolutely beautiful according to the pics you have posted and the specs. I''m sure your FF will appreciate the size of the stone. It''s great that she has a small finger...means more coverage.

Most likely the prongs will cover the inclusions and most likely no one will inspect the stone as closely as you. Good luck on choosing the setting! Do you have anything in mind?

OH! I don''t really have a setting in mind. But i''ve looked at the more classic settings like the tiffany-like 4 prong or 6 prong types and felt that they look pretty good ;-)

I''m likely going to get something simple.

Was going to go to the shop and see what they have.

u guys have any suggestions? Maybe if I bring them the designs, they can do it too!
