Perhaps this will help (this is a clear plastic template given to me during GIA Diamond Grading class).
It may not be actual size depending on your computer monitor,
but it does show relative size between the different shapes.
Cool tool!! From what I have seen I have noticed that the setting has EVERYTHING to do with it. I had a 1.10 princess cut set very low and my new 0.92 RB looks larger. It might be because my new setting is not as low, but the RB is cut very nicely. Marquis cuts tend to look bigger too. I think as a general rule any diamond that you look at that is cut too deep will carry most of it''s weight underneath. I think that''s right? I mean.....I have seen a lot of tiny well cut diamonds that sparkle like anything!
