Chicago Gem Lab

Does anyone know anything about Chicago Gem Lab? Its been mentioned on here before. My jeweler wanted to send my stone to GIA, but I really didnt want to wait a month to get it back. She is sending it to Chicago Gem Lab. Now I am concerned that I should of been more patient.

It's almost certainly PGS in Chicago, having been named incorrectly.

They're generally reviewed well here, with exceptions.

All I can say from personal experience...when writing both them and Diamond Scaci in advance of my visit, only PGS wrote me back.

If it is PGS, they are an excellent lab, particularly in the area of diamond analysis.

I fogot to mention, it is actually a ruby...

but you two have made me feel better about my decision.
