Hi, thewolf, welcome to Pricescope!
![]() My setting was inspired by the 1895 Pave setting. Here is a link to pictures. I leave it up to you to judge how close it is to the original. I am beyond thrilled with how it came out. It was done by Brilliant Earth. I don''t know how much FI paid for it, but I think it was under $2K. I would advise you to get a setting custom made and not pay the Cartier prices, which are truly outrageous. It would be one thing if your future fiancee insists on Cartier and nothing else would do, but if that is not the case, I would not go down that route. If you need the ring urgently, how about proposing with either the diamond only or with the diamond in an inexpensive temporary setting while the final setting is custom made? |
