Hi!
I'd be so grateful for some help finding a suitable diamond for an engagement ring! My boyfriend is happy with me doing all the research etc but I think is starting to get a little frustrated with me wanting to get the "perfect" one
I posted about a diamond I thought was OK and then learnt about the HCA calculator, crown angles...lots of things I hadn't even considered before The problem is, the diamond had already been ordered, and the site it was from only does exchanges. I' emailed them and hopefully waiting to hear back that the diamond hadn't been set yet!
So I'd need a diamond from this website:
http://www.diamondrocks.co.uk/Diamond+Engagement+Rings/Design+Your+Own+Ring.htm?step=2&shape=Round
The link is to "design your own" round brilliants and the diamond selection is at the bottom of the page. The certificates for angles etc can be viewed by clicking on the "GIA" of that diamond and then in the popup window "View certificate" immediately underneath the diamond image. For some reason this doesn't seem to be an option on all stones
Our budget for the diamond is up to around £700 (the price next to diamonds, not including VAT!) but £600 would be most sensible...although I think my boyfriend just wants me to have something I'd love
I'd like a GIA certified diamond, as "big" (carat or dimensions within good proportions!) as possible but not below say 0.42ct. SI1 or above, anything else I trust your judgements on!
The diamond would be set in a yellow gold band for four white gold prongs.
Please help a desperate girl!
Thanks so much for reading, any suggestions generally or of a specific diamond on the site would be very much appreciated from the bottom of my heart.
