buying diamonds on ebay...

Has anyone tried buying from XCELLENTGEM on ebay?

I am tempted to try buying a nice diamond on ebay but i thought I should first give it a try by buying some really cheap stuff and see how their products are... what do u guys think? I am considering buying these really small and cheap stones for a trial...

Hi,

Sorry, but the diamonds, especially the heart-shaped stone, seem to be fairly included. I personally wouldn't test the waters for cheap stones that didn't sparkle. I'd wait until I found a nice stone. I've seen some beautiful little stones sell for $100-200. Even a small stone, that is well cut, can make a nice impression and will be a lot more fun to play around with.

$75 is cheap enough but you get what you pay for and there are major inclusions as previously mentioned. But for $75 for fun....
