Buying a diamond in Toronto, Canada: My experience 2

Wow - coming up to 10 years since my original post on this site when I was searching for a diamond for an engagement ring. How time flies. Still married, still in Toronto and now have 2 little boys. Anyhow, I took a picture today of my same wedding band from Tiffany that I bought a decade ago to demonstrate the patina that occurs over 10 years. Now if I could only figure out how to upload the image...

Will see if I can pry the wedding and engagement rings off my better half for a 10 yr anniversary shot of their patena too...

Tiffany indicated at the time of purchase that if at any time I want to have it buffed and polished back to its original shine they are happy to do so for free indefinitely, but for me after 10 years I prefer the patina - sometimes your old and beat up jeans are just better than a new pair of Levis.
