The brilliance scope has been around now for atleast a few years.
Its a relatively new technology, and is is currently being used in certain segments of the diamond industry. There is also one new technology, that is also being experimented with called, (???) Basically its a box that grades a diamonds symmetry and light output using a scale of 1-10. I hope someone on pricescope can recall its name, and website? Kirk Konst |

Hi Bachelor, I think maybe Kirk is thinking of the "Isee-2" device, which when I first heard about it sounded an awful lot like the BScope, but with the twist of allowing the user to compare two different stones side by side. The device apparently has two separate chambers in which diamonds are placed, and the results are displayed in a split-screen image. I've never seen the units in action, but they are pretty heavily promoted by Robbins Diamonds here in the Philly area (a very high-profile local dealer -- "Their name is their address"). The Isee-2 site is at www.isee-2.com if you're interested in taking a look. -Tim |
