In November/December I will be working in antwerp and around the same time I will be looking to propose to my girlfriend.
I would like to purchase a stone over there in cash to avoid the VAT.
Can someone tell me if it's possible to hire a jeweler who would come with my (Paid for by me) or I could meet over there who would walk around with me to help select a decent stone?
I have a knowlage but I've never really checked a loose stone to it's cert.
Does anyone have a knowlage of reputable jewelers to go
Or any other helpfull infomation.
I'll be looking for a 1.2-1.3 ct colcour D-E, IF excellent cut round brilliant stone.
