I am planning on proposing soon, but I am a student and have to be careful with money, so I would really appreciate any help with selecting my diamond.
I am looking at a Round Brilliant AGS000 stone.

Color: J
Clarity: VS2
Table: 56%
Depth: 60.8%
Girdle:.8-1.5%
Crown Angle: 35 degrees
Pavilion Angle: 40.9 degrees
Fluorescence: None
I am looking to pay $1985

I have been doing lots of reading and think I have done enought homework, but, is this a reasonable deal. I have been told that the wholesaler that I am buying from is making less than $50 on the sale. Please just give me some opinions.
