Nope. Scores a paltry 4.6 on the HCA (good only if price is your main criterion).

Plug all the numbers in here https://www.pricescope.com/tools/hca

You want values under 2. Then for those under 2 ask for an idealscope image to evaluate light performance.

Thanks JulieN and ecf8503 for your assistance. Its great to have you guys to share some knowledge with me.

I am buying a diamond ring to propose to my gf and I am considering to buy it online instead of a brick and mortar shop in my country to save on taxes.

I have narrowed down 3 other diamond which I am considering.
Can you guys share your thoughts with me on the quality of the diamond? My gf wants a diamond with the greatest sparkle/brilliance/fire whichever way its called.

My gf wants one that sparkles the most, I suppose I want the ideal/best cut.

Clarity - VS 2 or better

Wow, thanks RockyRacoon. That's really quite a good selection I can have. Haha

Whats your take on the JA 1.036 Carat, G, VVS2?
I like the HCA score of 1 for this diamond. The only thing holding me back is the light leakage in the middle of the aset scope.
Guess its a tussle between mind clean and eye clean? haha

Also, does anyone know what is the little yellow speck in the diamond? Is it a chip or just some light leakage?

That looks like a fine stone!

You would be overpaying for the VVS2 clarity, when VS2 (you could probably drop to SI1, if you were pressed) will look identical to the naked eye. VVS2 clarity doesn't hurt, but you could get a larger stone / put more money into the setting by dropping in clarity.

I believe the 'yellow speck' is an artifact of the photography process, not actually seen in the stone.
