I am about to order this I color SI1 1 carat diamond today from James Allen. Just looking for last minute opinions before I place the order. The setting will be a French Cut Pave 18k White gold.

How do you think the I color diamond will look in the setting? I am hoping there wont be too much of a noticeable difference between the small F-G color diamonds on the setting.

Diamond: (Diamond is still available, even though the site says Not Available"

what's the price of this diamond?
have you seen it in person?
do you have the ASET pictures?

No red flags, but you should really get an idealscope image to make sure (not an ASET for rounds).

h4xhouse,

Both the ASET and HCA are used as methods to help determine light performance.

The HCA is here:

https://www.pricescope.com/tools/hca

This tells you why it is important:

This will tell you about Cut and the Idealscope:

https://www.pricescope.com/wiki/diamonds/diamond-cut

Here is the information on the ASET and why it is also important as well as more information than you are likely to find in any other one place about the evaluation of, and importance of, cut in a round diamond:

https://www.pricescope.com/journal/laboratory_cut_grades_what_report_doesn’t_show

Good hunting!
