14K Rose Gold 6.50ct Ruby Auroral Ring $500 (QP Jewellers)

Hello,

I bought my first ring for my girlfriend from an online retailer from the UK.
Today we went to a jewelry and he told us the Ruby is less then 3ct and it could be synthetic.
After contacting the store again they send me an appraisal certificate. I was wondering how legit this certificate is?
I still have over 20 days to return the ring and receive my money back. But since I really don't know who to trust I hope you guys can help me out. I paid 450 euro's for the ring, the certificate is for 1127 euro's. (smells fishy to me..)

I would also like to show some pictures of the ruby, but I really don't know whats the best way to show this.

You will probably get some feedback in this forum but you might have better luck if you have this topic moved to the
"Colored Stones" forum. You can do that by hitting the Report Concern button and asking them to move it.

There is no way you will get a Ruby that big for that price unless it's synthetic or glass filled or so included it will be really ugly to look at. It looks very much like a synthetic Ruby to me in their pics.
