1 or 1.3 carat center stone for halo setting?

Which size would be better for a 5.5-6 size ring finger?
I am trying to decide between 1 carat or 1.3 carat, round diamond.
The setting will be in cushion halo, with 0.39 carat weight.
I want the ring to look right, not too overwhelming or small.
I will be ordering the ring from Blue Nile, so won't be able to try it on.

My personal feeling is that I don't like the halo to overwhelm the center stone making it look small. So I think I would choose the 1.3 ct stone, which would be around 7mm.
