I am doing research for a friend who is going to propose to his girl and I found this through a vendor.
Yay or nay?
Round Brilliant
GIA
1.01
G
SI1
6.46x6.49x3.96
Table: 57.1
Depth: 61.1
Pav Angle: 40.6
Crown Angle: 34.9
Girdle: medium
Excellent polish
Excellent symmetry
It gets a 0.9 (TIC Excellent) on the HCA:
excellent for fire, brilliance and scintillation and very good for spread.

I''m a fancy girl so I need help.

The HCA score helps one seperate the Wheat from the Chaff. If you focus on diamonds with an HCA of < 2, you have a good chance of getting a great looking diamond. However, a low HCA doesn''t guarantee you have a good deal.

Can you get an Ideal Scope image from the vendor? You can post it here for comments from experts.

What is the price? It may be beautiful but expensive.

My stone has an HCA of .9 and it''s a fireball. Should be a winner.

Hey all - thanks for the input. It is much appreicated.
The stone is about $5,000 I think.
I have the stone''s brilliancescope but it''s a bmp file so I can''t upload it - but it looks amazing. It scores very high in fire and scintillation and high on the verge of very high for brilliance.
I don'' tknow if this vendor uses idealscope - I''ll ask.
