I have overlooked a couple threads on previous reponses regarding this topic but they are a little outdated so I wanted to get something more up to date. Currently my girlfriend and I have a tripped planned for Chicago in the summer time and we both have never been and in making it even more special I thinking of proposing to her then, but since I have never been I am trying to think of a good spot for popping the question. It will only be a weekend trip and we are planning on staying close to the magnificent mile. I have read places on where to go and check out, but when it comes to asking the question I prefer to do it in more of a private place and if its a restaurant then a place that doesn't have people eating over top of you sitting two feet from you. Any suggestions is greatly appreciated
