Doing a price search on the cushion, I''m finding the price at around 4600-4700.00. That leaves an awful lot for the rest. I think it''s too high myself. And besides, you don''t know how well the cushion looks either.

Ditto...it''s a bit high for the setting IMO...I wonder why it is so overpriced...

I was just going to say the same thing, but Ellen beat me to it! I found two cushions, F VS1. One was $5700 from ERD and one was $4700 from Blue Nile. Even if the mounting costs $3500.- or $4000.-, the finished ring shouldn''t be much over $10,000.- It''s over priced in my opinion, and Ellen is right. In the case of cushion cuts, how a particular stone looks to you means everything.

Definitely. I''d try buying the stone yourself, and then have a custom setting made.

Leon''s prices can vary pretty widely depending on the labor that goes into setting some pave very intricately, though I agree that seems EXHORBITANT for a simple halo and a thin eternity band shank. It''s way pretty though!

To give you some perspective he quoted me a while back in the vicinity of $6-$8K for a 3 stone halo (all three stones with halos) VERY intricate pave ring without center stones. So this does seems excessive.

I''ve had a few quotes from Leon. That setting would be at least $4700 and probably more. Let''s say $5200, then we''re estimating that the stone is valued at $8000 - which does seem high to me.

Hi, I just had the Adrianna halo made for my 1.04 ct RB and the total was $4000 with .86 ct of melee(I had a full eternity). You might be better off buying your diamond and having Leon make it. Good luck, it''s a beatiful setting!
