Top Five Reasons Why I Love My Engagement Ring

1. It means I am getting married to a man who completely and utterly adores me, who *giggles* when we talk about our upcoming wedding because he is so happy (too cute!).
2. It''s a perfect fit for my personality (not too huge and flashy, luxurious feminine glitter accompanied by a strong wide band, and the fire/sparkle changes so much in different lights).
3. It''s exactly what I wanted because I helped pick it out! I wanted something I would love as much now as I would in 30 years.
4. It''s a custom made setting, so no one else has anything just like it and I like the comments and compliments I get when people look at my ring.
5. When I see it I am reminded that FI made sure to ask my family''s permission before proposing - my family means more to me than anything and my parents have had an incredible marriage of 25 years. The commitment we made means ever so much more because he happily and respectfully asked for their blessing first.

Cute idea for a thread Deco!!! The top 5 reasons I love this ring are:

1. It symbolizes 29 years (as of this Sunday) of marriage to a wonderful man.
2. It has incredibly sparkly ideal cut diamonds.
3. It is NOT yellow gold.
4. I always get compliments when people notice it.
5. It reminds me that hubby is still willing to let me upgrade after all these years!
