I have the opportunity to purchase a pre-owned veil that is exactly what i want for about 25% of the price they wanted to charge me at the salon. Since I would be a 2-veil bride I really don''t want to spend much more!
The owner has been upfront that as she was packing it up she just notice a 1cm hole/snag in the center of the veil,
and sent me close up shots of the veil laying flat (hole seems barely noticeable) as well as her wearing the veil, when it''s hanging you cannot tell at all.
I''ve been told that a seamstress could sew that up with clear thread if I wanted, and that it wouldn''t be noticeable even up close.
I am going to call a seamstress tomorrow and ask but does anyone have experience/opinions on this?
