Hi, Have a quick question. I want to keep my engagement ring as shiny and clean as possible. Its a round solitaire in a platinum setting. Does anyone have a recommendation on how to keep it in top form ? I use "Connoisseurs" Jewelry Cleaner, which is a solution that I drop all my current jewlery in, but I wasnt sure if it was ok for my ring as well. Anyone have any recommendations ?

Thank you

it is perfectly fine to use on your platinum/diamond ring.

yeah cleaners are good, also just soap and water with a very soft tooth brush works well too. Just another idea if you didnt have the cleaner or you didnt want to use it.

You can also use the jewelry cleaner that WF sells for platinum and diamond jewelry. Also I love using some sudsing amonia mixed with water, that is great too. Wipe with a lint free cloth and viola. If you don''t have a lint free cloth cottonelle bathroom tissue is awesome.

Diluted dishwashing liquid and a soft toothbrush work very well together. Sometimes when I'm travelling and have no access to either jewellery cleaner or dishwashing liquid, I use my shampoo for oily hair and it works brilliantly too

I use the WF cleaner. I switched to it from the conneisuers jar. The difference is amazing. I love this stuff.

I dry my newly cleaned stuff with a clean soft tshirt.

I use both the WF stuff and just plain old warm water and dish soap. And to be honest, I cannot tell a difference in results between the two.
