Hi, I'm looking for a nice sparkly heart diamond. I found these two they have the exact same measurments, but one site says theirs is an Ideal cut with lots of fire, while the other one says theirs will probably fall below 2.0 on the (can't remembervwhat it's called) scale. I hope I've done this right.

Well, it's the same stone and neither have it. They are just listing it. The picture on Union Diamond is just a sample image, so you have zero idea what that stone looks like. The info from USACerted is totally wrong. The HCA is a tool to evaluate round diamonds. It has nothing to do with hearts.

My suggestion is to have Good Old Gold call in a few heart shaped diamonds within your budget and specs and let them check light return and make you a comparison video. That's the best way to choose a good fancy cut stone via distance. They can probably call that specific stone in for you.
