Thank you so much!
The profile was actually most important to me—I wanted it to be very low, which becomes more difficult as the diamond size increases of course, due to the stones depth. Even though it's ultimately a somewhat common setting, I wanted it to be low and minimal metal, so that it appeared as if the diamonds were all that was there. I think it really hits the mark on that. In person, it appears as though they are floating on my finger.

The process began about 4 months ago when I began to really check out different jewelers. I knew I wanted the ring on my finger in March... For about a month we were looking at different parcels of diamonds. Once they were selected the actual construction process took roughly 2 weeks to complete. 11 days actually.

And I really love the fact that you wanted something and just went for it.

I'm still trying to hush those voices in my head that say 'a solitaire means this ...', 'an eternity means that ...', and 'don't wear a ring on THAT finger unless ...'

This is stunning! Which vendor made it?

Ultimately, after a lot of deliberation and thought... I had it made by a jeweler I've known for years, and trust very much—he is local to me.

I absolutely loved the communication I had with WF, but as someone who is very visual/kinesthetic... I needed to be more involved in the process than to just communicate through photos.

I actually had the opportunity to look at many parcels of diamonds together with the jeweler as they came in and as they completed the suite of stones for the ring. Some I loved, some I didn't... And it gave me the opportunity to see the process come to life! In the beginning of this project I was set on 25 pointers... I quickly realized that was not what I was looking for and needed to go bigger.

I even got to watch them cast the molds and set the diamonds. Very very cool!

It's absolutely gorgeous! Isn't it fun to sort through diamond parcels?
