Yup, helping more Americans to depend on welfare and food stamps, w/o job growth more and more Americans will stay in poverty.

From "The Wall Street Journal"

"Bush On Jobs: The Worst Track Record On Record"

"President George W. Bush entered office in 2001 just as a recession was starting, and is preparing to leave in the middle of a long

one. That’s almost 22 months of recession during his 96 months in office.

His job-creation record won’t look much better. The Bush administration created about three million jobs (net) over its eight years,

a fraction of the 23 million jobs created under President Bill Clinton‘s administration and only slightly better than President George

H.W. Bush did in his four years in office.
"

It's too bad you like to make up your facts, Dancing Fire. It's painful to see the ones in the real world, isn't it? The Democrats really did so much better at creating jobs. All the Republicans did was talk about creating them...and talk is cheap.

I am kinda apathetic about life right now. So I don't really have the ability to feel "tremendously" about anything.

But I care as much as I possibly can. So I'd give it a 9.

I feel there is no option but a democrat in the White House. All of the Republican candidates are disasters. One worse than the next.

I am concerned but am also aware that it wouldn't make a whit of difference.

Ugh. This. ^^^

+1

I care a great deal, but IMO things are pretty much hopeless.
America is just going how it's going and I don't think a president can do much, if anything, to fix things.

When I vote I take a broader view.
IMO the dems are about helping everyone but the reps are about helping themselves stay rich.
I just hold my nose and vote party.

Not what I meant or wrote.

What you wrote is on you.

Deb.
165K jobs created for the month of Jan. is not something to brag about.

In Illinois we can vote for either party in the primaries. Not sure if I want to vote for Clinton or Kasich. I would be happy with either of them. I could live with either Sanders or Bush. I find the rest of the candidates quite frightening.
