Hi everyone :wavey:

I am trying to come up with a RHR - not an every day ring. I have always loved yellow zircons, but it's been tough to find one in the size I want. I want something big - maybe 15mm long - and in a rectangular cut. I am open to pears too. Does anyone have any other suggestions for a stone? I've seen danburite around and in rings, but do we think that will hold up? I don't want to spend a whole lot on the stone as this is kind of a fun piece. I am open to other colors too, in neutral tones - yellows, champagnes. Any suggestions?

Thanks! :)

Thank you Neil! I am going to look into this

edit:
and yes, it does appear to be too soft for a ring. It's a 5/6 on mohs. Too bad, so pretty!

What about topaz? Doug of Bespoke Gems has champagne and neutral colored rough. Worth an email to him.
