They really are! I contacted David Klass but haven't heard back from him yet. Thinking of sending him both that and the scapolite. Otherwise I might have my local guy put it in a Stuller or something. In the past I would have just sent them to Daniel M, but not after all that drama.

I bet that pink spinel is amazeballs. I love his Jua cut - so sparkly! But alas...I have too much on the go, and already have a bigger pink spinel from Gene that I have yet to set!

Love the pink spinel, but it faces up pretty small. The color though!

I'm the one who got the garnets I'm hoping the hessonite goes as perfectly with my blue round zircon as it does in my head. The purple garnet will only be mine for a little while... it's going to end up as a graduation gift for my sister, who graduates from college in December. Her birthstone is garnet and her favorite color is purple, so it was a no brainer. I bought the stone, and my parents are going to set it into a pendant for her

I am forever in love with the color of that spinel though. It seems to glow in the video I really had to talk myself out of spending money I don't have on it!!

It's great Gene is taking videos in natural light, sometimes the darker toned stones appear to light in the still shots. The pink is a perfect pink, the depthmust be quite deep, the cutting is so pretty though like a flower.
