Some dust, PLEEZZZZZZZZZ

It's been a terrible summer with my sister dying, and both my husband any myself facing health challenges we never saw coming.

I was laid off from a job I dearly loved several years ago and then developed a bad case of AR and it's been downhill from there with one thing and another, however a job has opened up in a small private school 7 block from my house in the reading resource department. I would be perfect for the job {if I say so myself } and the really great thing is I used to work with the principal. We got long great back in the day. I have an appointment to see her tomorrow afternoon. Sooo...please sprinkle a little dust out there in the universe for me, if you are so inclined.


But this has gotten me thinking that no matter how this turns out...if I'm not hired I am going to offer my services on a volunteer basis in the reading/writing area. If that is declined, I'm going to the town library, if thats' declined, I'm going to the nursing home...you get where I'm going. I've spent way too much time sitting on my oh so ample rear end feeling sorry for myself.

I have know of several people in our county that volunteered at our schools and then ended up getting an offer when a job
became available in their area. I think volunteering is a great idea and may lead to something better.
